Logistician of the Year

The Logistician of the Year Award, which has been awarded since 2006, honours the most successful Slovenian logistics professional whose knowledge and work in the past period have led to outstanding achievements in the field of logistics.

Logistics operations need competent managers, especially as logistics has the potential to save money. Therefore, a good degree of innovation can yield significant results. There is a growing awareness of the scarcity of "logistics resources", which makes their optimisation crucial for the competitiveness of companies, organisations and the economy as a whole. Investment in the transport and logistics sector is also increasing, further stimulating the growth of the economy, especially the logistics sector. It is right that the outstanding achievements in the field of logistics in Slovenia should be seen, recognised, rewarded, and presented to the wider public.

That is why every year the Association strives to recognise the most innovative and successful individual or company in the field of logistics in the previous year. We are aware that this award is not only intended to reward the individual and the company, but also to promote logistics and its importance in Slovenia more widely.
