In early October 2024, Bled will host the grand finale of the ELA Awards 2024 – a prestigious event showcasing the best European logistics projects, culminating in an awards ceremony.
On the 3rd of October 2024, Bled will transform into the epicentre of European logistics innovation. At the final gala event, the finest European logistics projects will be presented, all vying for the title of the best – the ELA Awards 2024. The event will gather top experts in logistics and supply chain management.
The ELA Awards, or Project of the Year, is a competition that operates in a format similar to the “Champions League.” Each national association that is a member of the European Logistics Association (ELA) has the privilege of nominating its national award-winning project for this competition. A European jury then selects the finalists from the submitted projects, who will compete for the prestigious title of European Logistics Project of the Year at the ELA Awards final event.
The awards are presented by the European Logistics Association, which consists of 22 national logistics associations and connects 55,000 logistics professionals. The association aims to promote professionalism in logistics and supply chain management by fostering expertise, providing an international platform for networking, and promoting innovation and best practices in European logistics. The ELA Awards have been recognising the most innovative projects since 2014, with past winners including Nestlé-Pepsico, Skoda Auto AS, Bosch, and dm drogerie markt.
We are proud to announce that the award for European Logistics Project of the Year 2023 was won by the Slovenian logistics project NAFEZA, developed by CargoX in 2022. This award is a significant accolade for CargoX and Slovenian logistics. As a result, the Slovenian Logistics Association has been entrusted with the honour of hosting this year’s ELA Awards 2024 final selection.
The event will begin with presentations of all the finalist projects, culminating in the announcement of the best of the best. This will follow the Keep IT Simple 2024 conference, providing a unique opportunity to learn about the best European logistics projects first-hand and to network with logistics professionals from across Europe.
Such events affirm and strengthen the role of Slovenian logistics in Europe and beyond. They also validate the activities and efforts of the Slovenian Logistics Association (SLA) in fostering connections, collaboration, and the establishment of stronger ties and synergies on the international logistics stage.
Mark your calendars for the 3rd of October 2024 for an unforgettable double event – Keep IT Simple and the ELA Awards 2024!
